Barcelona Beaches from the Cruise Port

Sandy city beaches minutes from your ship — the easiest way to relax on a port day.

Distance

About 1.5–3 km / 10–20 min

Travel time

10–20 minutes

Time needed

Allow 2–4 hours

Few cruise ports let you reach a sandy beach as quickly as Barcelona. Barceloneta sits right beside the Old Port, so you can be on the sand within minutes of leaving the terminal — perfect for a relaxed port day.

From the World Trade Center terminals, Barceloneta beach is a short walk or quick taxi. From the Adossat terminals, take the Port Cruise Bus to the Columbus Monument, then a short taxi or 20-minute walk to the sand.

Barceloneta is the liveliest beach, backed by a promenade of seafood restaurants and beach bars. For cleaner, quieter sand, continue north to Bogatell or Nova Icària, a short taxi ride away.

Because the beaches are so close, they pair beautifully with a morning of sightseeing — many passengers see a landmark first, then relax by the sea before all-aboard.
